Taxonomic history

Originally described as Papilio Antiphates Cram. ceylonicus Eimer, 1889
Treated as a synonym (aberration) of Papilio antiphates alcibiades Fabricius, 1787 by Rothschild (1895: 412). Treated as a subspecies of Graphium (Pathysa) antiphates (Cramer, 1775) by Bridges (1988: II.43). Treated as a subspecies of Graphium antiphates (Cramer, 1775) by Gaonkar (1990: 479).

Remarks

Probably invalid as junior homonym (ceylonicus Moore, 1881) - check!
