Taxonomic history

Originally described as Parnassius mnemosyne L. subsp. angorae Bryk, 1931
Treated as a subspecies of Parnassius mnemosyne by Eisner (1978:108).

Remarks

Although the paper of the orginal description was co-authored by Bryk and Eisner, only Bryk is indicated as the author of this taxon.
