Taxonomic history

Originally described as Tadumia baileyi South subsp. baileyanus Bryk, 1932
Treated [as "baileyana"] as a subspecies of Tadumia (Tadumia) acco Gray by Eisner (1959: 172). Treated as a subspecies of Tadumia przewalskii (Alpheraky, 1887) by Huang & Murayama (1991: 360). Treated as a synonym of Parnassius (Tadumia) baileyi baileyi South, 1913 by Weiss (1992: 81). Treated as a synonym of Parnassius acco baileyi South, 1913 by Rose (2000: 267).
