Additional information: "in the Natural History Museum in London", "Material examined. 1♂, with Felder label 'Amboina Coll. Eyndhoven' and 'alphenor [v. Amboin... B.97 - barely legible]' (BMNH(E)# ); it has been repinned, repaired and touched with paint. Although only the female was illustrated, both sexes are discussed in the text. However, it is very doubtful that the above male is a syntype. There is a possibly syntype ♀ in RNHL." (Chainey, 2005: 283, 294).
